NBA Playoff Round 2 Predictions:
So now that round one has come to a close the second round of the NBA playoffs is among us, and everyone is wondering who will win each series, So i will give you my Predictors and why.
Lets start with the easiest one:
The Miami Heat Vs. The Brooklyn Nets/The Chicago Bulls- With game 7 still to come between the Brooklyn Nets and the Chicago Bulls, it is unknown who will most likely be the next victim of the power house of the Miami Heat. The Miami heat's Weakness is a good opposing BIG MAN game, both Brooklyn and Chicago have this but do they have enough? If Miami gets to play Brooklyn i believe it will be Miami in 5, too much power and scoring by Miami to be stopped by Brooklyn's Smaller big men, Lebron James will take over the series and be a dominate force that i believe they can not hold down. If Miami gets to play Chicago i believe it will be Miami in 6, I do believe in the Chicago Bulls more then the Brooklyn Nets, they have shut down Defense and better rebounding big men and this is my prediction without Derrick Rose. If Rose somehow comes out to play i will still Choose Miami in 6.
The Other Eastern Playoff Game:
The New York Knicks vs. The Indiana Pacers
During the regular season the Indiana Pacers Split the season series with the New York Knicks at (2-2), These are the other premiere teams of the Eastern Conference besides the Miami Heat. Both the Knicks and the Pacers have taken huge steps forward this season and look like potential powerhouse's in the upcoming seasons. Both teams are streaky but with the current bad streak that the Knicks had against the Celtics it was hard to choose NY over IND but i did anyway. The New York Knicks will Win the Series in 7 Games. usually when it comes down to the playoffs the Team with the best player wins, and the best player in this series is Carmelo Anthony. Its going to be a gut wrenching series but i do believe the Knicks will come up on top in the very end. Yet again Knicks in 7.
Next up the Western Conference:
The Oklahoma City Thunder vs The Memphis Grizzlies
This one will be my upset pick sorry OKC fans, During the regular season the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 2 times out of 3, and that was when they had their All Star Russell Westbrook, when he went down the Thunder had a hard time against the Houston Rockets in round 1. Unlike my last prediction i do not believe that the best player in this Series(Kevin Durant) will win. The Memphis Grizzlies win in 6. The Grizz have been one of the NBA's complete teams throughout the entire season even when they traded Rudy Gay they still won. Its going to be one fun series to watch but i cant believe that one man will carry them on his back and score 50 a night. Yet Again with the Upset The Memphis Grizzlies in 6 Games over the Number 1 Seed OKC.
And Finally the Last Game of the Round:
The San Antonio Spurs vs. The Golden State Warriors
This one is going to be Interesting, on one hand you have a very reliable team who produces every night but is filled with ageing players that have seen their share of rings. While on the other side you have the "best Shooting team in the Nation" as Stephen a Smith would say, Also they are a young developing powerhouse. Stephan Curry has been lights out this entire season en-route to breaking the single season three point record and becoming labeled the "best shooting player" in the NBA but i will not go against the Spurs 3, Duncan-Parker and Ginobili. The San Antonio Spurs will win the Series in 7. This will be a highly contested series with the young guns from Golden State powerful three point shooting but i believe the consistence of the San Antonio Spurs can not be Matched in the West. Spurs in 7.
If i am right that would Make your Conference Finals look Like:
The Miami Heat vs. The New York Knicks
And
The San Antonio Spurs vs. The Memphis Grizzlies
